Day #30

What an interesting day. As much as MANY people were unhappy with the trial today, I understand why the verdict was cast as it was.

(#30) 7/5/2011 - Although far from perfect, I am thankful for our justice system.

Day #29

Happy 4th of July! I went to a wonderful picnic with friends, ran to a bar to avoid the rain, then made it to the top of a parking deck to watch fireworks.

UM WOW. I'm going to need to keep my act together and get a little more organized with this.

I am at the point (since, you know, I'm a week late now) where I'm struggling to remember what I did each day...

Preeeetty basic. I just am truly appreciative of this right now.

Day #26

After work, I had a wonderful evening with Ciara, Olga and Dana. We had fantastic life chats and I definitely am appreciative of that time we spent together. I've discovered that I'm getting dangerously close to repeating myself on this thing. Looks like I'm going to have to start getting more specific with my "thanks." Also, this one may seem trivial but it was really quite nice!

Day #25

Last day of June and back to work already.

(#25) 6/30/2011 - I am thankful for surprise visits at work and the hugs that come with them.

Day #24

Baaaack to Greensboro. Sigh. I apparently was in denial and simply refused to go to my own home for awhile. As you do.

(#24) 6/29/2011 - I am thankful that I get to teach lessons this summer. It's a wonderful breath of fresh air in the middle of the week.
